My 2nd Interview

I finally had my second interview this week. I learned a lot of new things and gained a new perspective of neuropsychology and being a neurospychologist that I never had before. It was interesting to the contrast between the previous neuropsychologist I interview and this one, such as the pediatric neuropsychologist mostly talked about ADHD and learning disorders, while the first neuropsychology who mainly works with adults talk more about Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Through the interview I also learned more about the neuropsychological assessment process, such as how it's is usually split into chunks for kids, which I thought was very interesting. This week, I also did more research for my Research Assessment, where I learned more about ADHD. I learend about the different symptoms and how debilitating ADHD can potentially be. I also learned about how common ADHD is in the U.S. alone. Finally, I sadly had no luck this week either in getting myself another interview, but one receptionist I was talking to did say that the doctor would reach out to me next week when her schedule clears out. I'm going to continue to reach out to more professional neuropsychologists and hope that someone is interested in an interview.
