It's been a while since my last post and a lot of things have happened in the past couple of weeks I didn't post. One of the biggest things was the Winter Showcase. The Winter Showcase was definitely one of my favorite events in ISM so far this year. I got look at the posters of all the other ISM students from other schools and got a lot of inspiration. It was also fun explaining what neuropsychology was to people since it's not a field that many people know about. Other than the Winter Showcase, one of the most exciting things that happened in the past couple weeks was that Dr. Lerner Officially became my mentor and I was allowed to go on mentor visits. So far I've only been on one, but I definitely learned a lot of things. We discussed several final product ideas and we also took and gave the MoCa test on each other. I learned how an Alzheimer's patient would perform on a MoCa test, which I thought was very interesting. Ultimately these past couple weeks have been very interesting and I'm excited to do more mentor visits and learn about the different aspects of neuropsychology.
